A man in a dilapidated house full of old newspapers, cats, mice, beer cans, totally polluted.
An old lady looks like a real lady, but she can't keep up her house anymore it is totally dirty, her clothes are dirty and broken.
ADD, attention deficit syndrome, due to too many impressions.
Chaos in the head.
Post-traumatic stress syndrome.
The cause can be experiences like in a war, where one is shot at from all sides, where the bombs hit all around and one has to run for his life.

Who did what... confusion... and inner strength and hold on - he stands... a bit of arrogance, pretending nothing is going wrong.

Man is afraid there will be nothing left of him when he sees the chaos... Afraid to become psychotic, he would disintegrate

not being able to process impressions (also children)
PTSD... being bombarded from all sides and you can't sense everything anymore
