Family: Rosaceae.
English: Hardhack, silverleaf.
Chemistry: tannin, gallic acid.
General: astringent, tonic.
Abdomen: dysentery, chronic diarrhoea, cholera infantum, debility of the bowels, haemorrhage of the bowels, secondary stages of bowel complaints when inflammation has been subdued, cholera morbus.
Respiratory: haemoptysis.
