Family: Hypericaceae.
English: Great St. John's wort.
Chemistry: Quinone: hypericine.
General: agues, chronic catarrhal conditions of respiratory, intestinal and urinary apparatuses, fevers.
Mind: deppression, disturbed sleep.
Skin: Filthy ulcers, burnings, scaldings, wounds, bruises, sores, tumours, rough skin, contusions.
Abdomen: sore mouth, vomiting, laxative, diarrhoea, vermifuge, haemorrhoids.
Respiratory: sore throat, haemoptysis, expectorant, weak lungs, croup.
Nervous: injury to the cranium and spinal column.
Urinary: stone in the bladder, suppression of urine, chronic affections of urinary organs, kidney troubles.
