Actaea rubra.
English: White baneberry; White cohosh; Red baneberry; Red cohosh.
Chemistry: unnamed alkaloid.
Head: headache due to eye strain, uterine headache, dizziness.
Female: neuralgia of the womb, painful menstruation, pain of child birth, amenorrhoea, subinvolution, uterine tenderness, ovarian neuralgia.
Abdomen: purgative, reflex uterine gastralgia, emetic, stomach troubles.
Limbs: chronic fleeting rheumatism.
Heart: fatty or irritable; quickening of the heart.
