Family: Rosaceae.
English: Swamprose.
Chemistry: rich in vitamin: c.
General: convalescence fron tertian and quotidian agues, haemorrhages, chronic inflammation.
Head: headaches.
Skin: pustules, erysipelas, wounds.
Eyes: used in eye ointments, cataplasm to the eyes, cataract.
Abdomen: heat of the stomach, diarrhoea, dysentery, purgative, ulcerations to the lining of the mouth, stomach troubles, itching piles, indigestion.
Limbs: lumbago.
Nervous: convulsions.
