A 36-year-old woman has been experiencing excessive sweating for years. It started 8 years ago, after the birth of her child: she sweats a lot, with drops falling from her forehead. She feels clammy, and dirty, and always think, 'I hope it doesn't happen now'. It can break out suddenly, in stores. She has a bit of claustrophobia and never uses an elevator. She often blushes. She used to sweat a lot from her armpits. For years, she has been on medication for Bechterew’s disease, with only mild symptoms now. She frequently has swollen glands. Around her menstruation, she suffers from headaches that originate from her neck. Before her pregnancy, she lost a premature baby. This loss never leaves her; it is always on her mind. She often has a hard demeanor, sits upright, is very direct, and speaks curtly. Sweating runs in the family. During pregnancy, she was very irritable, constantly snapping at her partner. She gets ‘crazy’ from crowds, like in a shopping street. She is often insecure about her choices and can feel chased and restless. Her husband is always cheerful and doesn't talk about problems. Sometimes things improve; after taking Rubus-ideus, her symptoms were gone for a year, and after
Praseodymium nitricum, the blushing and the severity of the sweating decreased. The symptoms have returned, now very severe, affecting her lower body and groin area, soaking through her clothes. She doesn’t know what to do. When she sits, a wet spot is left behind on the chair. The blushing has also returned, along with sweaty hands and feet. It might be the time of year; this is the month of her stillborn child’s anniversary, and it all comes back. She always thought she could handle it herself and never did anything about it. But now she talks about it with her friends, from whom she gets a lot of support. The sweating gets worse when she dreads something. Her belly has been very bloated the last few months; she looks pregnant and feels bloated. Because of this, she barely eats anymore and doesn't snack. Last week, she had a lot of Bechterew pain, especially in her hips, and was prescribed a course of prednisone, but the sweating remained the same. She could hardly sit, feeling like she was completely inflamed in her back and hips. Her belly is fine in the morning after getting up, but after two hours, it starts to bloat. Sweaty hands, and numb fingers, she constantly thinks about what others might think if they notice. She starts avoiding people.

Follow upAfter two weeks, it is already much better. Her voice and posture are lighter, she now has a certain floatiness, her voice lacks depth, and the tone is softer. Her posture is now relaxed, her face no longer as complaining and hardened as in recent years. Her hands are less sweaty, but her feet are still very bad, and very hot. Going to a store went well, and going to work went well, although she noticed her clothes were clammy when she got home. No more blushing. Sleep is still inconsistent; she wakes up a few times a night and starts thinking a lot because there was a death in the family.
Dreams of the day. Always chewing gum; when she comes in, she first goes to the trash can. I ask why (after all these years); she always has a bad taste in her mouth, her friends say it's noticeable, so she always uses mint and gum. But now that also seems to be less! The intestines cause no more trouble, the bloated feeling is gone. In the following months, she feels good, not thinking as much, and is less emotional. She goes into trauma therapy. Blushing is completely gone. Belly remains fine. No more dreams. She used to be restless at night, noticing it when she woke up in between, and that is now also less. The symptoms keep decreasing, and after a year, she receives
Cygnus cygnus for neck complaints, and everything remains fine for years. The pain in her back and neck was also significantly reduced.
Over eight years, she received: Gadolinium-sulphuricum, Spongia,
Indium, Salicylic acid, Chamomilla, Agrimonium, ammonium muriaticum,
Anthracinum,
Eupatorium perfoliatum, Hydrangea,
Samarium- nitricum, Thea sinensis,
Holmium-silicatum,
Antimonium muriaticum, Balsamina impatiens,
Praseodymium nitricum,
Lobelia inflata,
Rubus idaeus (after this, more than a year went well), Thymus, Cubeba pepo,
Uranium metallicum,
Praseodymium phosphoricum. She always came back with good hope, the sweating bothered her, not Bechterew’s disease. The story of the lost child moved to the background; she never mentioned it again, initially only in passing. Only when it became clear that it was still a sensitive issue when it resurfaced in her consciousness, did the medication picture become clear.
