Case: woman, 55, pneumonia, bronchitis.
She has recurrent pneumonia and bronchitis. She has recurrent infections of all her airways and coryza, with wheezing. She has various allergies. She is coughing a lot, worse from laughing. With this she has shivering, and a lump in throat. She feels of gliding away into tiredness because she cannot stop coughing. The cough is worse going downstairs, and walking outside.
Sometimes she has fever with it, mostly low fever, and may feel hot and shaky and lacks energy. She has constriction in her chest, as if there is a tight band under her breasts, as if she could get a heart attack. She has hyperventilation.
She is asthmatic, worse from exertion, worse after her pregnancies. She suffered from a miscarriage. It was the consequence of a near accident, the fright from it. In the corona time she had severe pneumonia, but tests did not show covid. Antibiotics didn’t help.
The problems started 20 years ago, after her father died suddenly from heart attack. She had very good contact with him. It was a shock, unexpected, a big loss. They used to have almost daily contact. She lost her buddy.
On research a leaking mitral valve was discovered. She is treated with prednison, and antibiotics, to no avail. She feels helpless, and not taken seriously by the doctors.
She is center of family, arranging things for everyone. She has very good contact with her sons and daughter.
She cannot stand injustice. She is very honest, talks out problems with the person. she does not talk behind the back of others. She has good contact with mother and grandmother from mothers side, who also had bronchitis and always told her nice stories.
She works as secretary, receptionist. She likes the contact with people, to talk to people. She is good in taking care of others. People come to her for advice. She is very vivacious. That is why the doctors don’t take her seriously. She has icy cold hands and feet, shivering mostly at night.
On the question if she feels special she thinks long and then answer "I think everyone is special".
In the past she had thyroid problems. Her hair was falling, her teeth were decaying and she was very tired. She felt sick with muscle and joint pains. She has several times a kind of influenza, with low fever, headache, muscle pains, and feeling chilly and shivering. She had sinusitis several times, worse from allergies.
She had regularly stitching, pressing pains in ears, and throat pains. She has problems with her teeth and joints. She has muscle pains and headaches, neck pain, stiff and tight hands.
Recently the problem got triggered by a lot stress. She was taking care of her dementing mother, her own children, renovating her house and having her job as receptionist.
