Cornus rugosa
3-665.16.08A 70-year-old woman with a rash on her head. The eruptions are on occiput and in the neck. She is dressed artistic, colorful, a lot of make-up, and self-assured. Her appearance is striking, creative, with big scarf, and earrings. Movement and talk are somewhat rigid, purposeful, and controlling. The rash comes back and she want to get to it quickly now, last time (two years before) it got bad, all over the body, and it lasted for months. Much itching, and burning, more on the left side, boils. After washing one day better. Scratching it open. She is using again the old hair dye for two years, the rash has been there for two months now. It started on vacation with an explosion, very bad, she was on holiday for a week with her child and grandchildren. She still work as a pedicurist, she was very busy, packing quickly, with all kinds of substances, or would it be something infectious? She does babysitting, and having a living-apart-together relationship, it is a hectic life. ‘Working hard, I've always done that’, you want to be able to do something fun too. Otherwise good, health is ok. I've been coughing for weeks.
Family: always problems in the bowels, up to 4 times a day. Her tongue clean, the base slightly yellow (the area corresponding with the bowels, indicating a similar fur or mucous discharge is in the colon). She has not been sleeping well for years, 10x awake, sometimes she lies awake for hours, she don't worry about it anymore. Never dreaming, she did have nightmares as a child. She has a very regular diet, and have been using propolis for a few weeks. During the vacations she was dizzy for one day, three years ago she suffered vertigo for weeks. She worries about the grandchildren, that's in your head, lots of worrying, but it doesn't help, it's in your mind. She take on a lot, with the grandchildren, babysitting, going out with them. She always want to do well, and please everyone, then sometimes ‘you forget yourself.’ Her scalp is always sensitive. Her family has bad veins, varicose veins, father, mother, brother. The left nose can suddenly close up, prone to fever rash, now too. Keep working: that also allows me financially to do the fun things, driving car, vacation. She works independently, 2 days of 10-hours.
The weather is cold, and she still dressed in summer, 'I don't feel like winter clothes'. She has remarkable thin nails. In puberty she had a lot of acne, her face was full, she got a lot of medication, and all that new was hard for her. Hair falls out a lot, always in autumn. She worries about a grandchild, his puberty, then you are insecure, about your appearance. This is why she lies awake, thoughtful, which give her more intestinal problems.AnalysisWhere does rash come from, what is the cause?
Life is good and busy but that suits her well, it is her own choice, she is stable.
Because her bowel is a possible cause (her bowl is not cleaned up enough), I studied the rubric urging frequent, looking for appropriate Series, Phase, or Stage. Cornus was popping up, because:
Gold series 6: Independent, control.
Silver series 5: Appearance is eye-catching, and groomed. Much concerned with beauty, and appearance, and in case of lack of beauty Stage 16 and synchrony also Phase 6.
Phase 1: She is direct, and spontaneous, the past years fatigue (even exhausted, but she always goes on), note also her choice at the time: I'm going to learn something for fun, spontaneous fits with Phase 1, have been doing it for 45 years, can't miss it, experiencing this unity also fits with Phase 1. Eruptions started sudden, nose stuffed up sudden.
Phase 6: She seems to care about the problem of her grandchild, to recognize it of her own youth: the theme of a new period of life, Phase 1, belonging to the group (Lamiidae), finding yourself ugly, Phase6. It may be the empathy or the old pain that surfaces, it is a theme for her, indicating a Phase and so for the choice of medicine.
Stage 8: hard work, hectic, it is a theme.
She prefer a relation (Stage 16 or Phase 6) but not in the same house, want to be free (Lanthanides, Series 6).
Qjure mentions the preference to stay alone and free instead of overwhelmed, and abused. Making your own choices, developing yourself. Feeling not seen, not appreciated, and not valued, a theme in her marriage
before, they had lots of arguments, and lots of having to do. Outsider in her culture or group, artistic,
autonomic.
Prescription: Cornus rugosa MK.Follow upThe first few days a little more itching and burning in attacks, and then the bumps and itching fade
away within a week. Occasionally she still put the nails on her scalp. Bowel and sleep no difference, blister on tongue tip. She was fine the year after. Three years before she also came for a rash, which gradually disappeared after Punica granatum. The rash came now back again and did not respond to Amaranthes retroflexus and Sarsaparilla. Another three years after this prescription the rash came back again after an attack of shingles, then got Burchellia bubalina. Cornus rugosa worked, matching aspects of the Series and Stage, possibly colored by the situation at the time. In the case of Burchellia, the Series and Stage were adopted and were still recognizable. I always prefer to make a new analysis, not repeating a remedy, according the situation and the most striking influences or sensitivities, the themes.
