Introduction
We know only Peumus boldus from this family.
The situation is so overpowering that one tends to behave as if it does not exist. As one cannot do anything it is better not to think about it. Diversion and occupation are the best ways to handle the situation.
They can be very angry but they have to keep it inside for fear of being molested and tormented.
Mind
Being under domination, a police state.
Lack of real freedom and every act of individuality will be retaliated, with coercion, violence or killing.
Excitement !, nervous, hysteria.
Numbness, anaesthesia. Sleepy, coma.
Grief, loss; sad, pessimist, lives in past; hypochondriac; weeping all the time.
Reserved, closed; restricted; forbidden.
Denies, 'no', irritable.
Alone.
Aphasia.
Delusions of hearing.
General
Sensation: contracting, constricting, band.
Weather: chilly, hypothermia; < heat, < sun.
Desire: salt, fish.
Aversion: salt, fish; food, no appetite.
Sleep: sleepy; coma; sleepless.
Body
Energy: tired, weak, languor, < walking, < talking.
Discharge: watery.
Nervous: exaggeration of reflexes, ataxia, convulsions, paralysis; sensory numbness, anaesthesia, hypnotic.
Fever: high, malaria, delirious, + chills and sweating.
Head: headache, constant.
Eyes: glazy eyes.
Face: yellow-clay look, languid.
Mouth: glowing; burning; taste bitter.
Lungs: paralysis; dyspnoea; asthma, bronchitis, catarrh, oedema lungs.
Heart: palpitation; cardiac failure; anaemia.
Stomach: indigestion; atony, nausea, belching, vomiting.
Abdomen: bloated, flatulence; ascites; atony; liver and gall problems; worms.
Rectum: constipation; diarrhoea, dysentery.
Urinary: acute and chronic cystitis; gonorrhoea.
Limbs: rheumatism.
Skin: cyanotic.
