Cornus alternifolia
3-665.16.08A woman of 50 years, she has tension with her work. She has a lot of stress because she wants to quit work,
but struggle over finances and doubts how she wants and can continue. She is restless, can not sleep after 4 am, she has fungal infection with fever. The feeling she have: 'it's all over.'
Management is arguing anytime, she has a kind of dependency, that stops the resignation. Anger at
work: 'it is on me to find some a solution. I don't dare to say what I think'. The other colleagues also
suffer, but for her suffering is more by holding back. She is tired, has pain in the right hip, the crista, and she has toothache. It's annoying, because she was just about to start again after a burnout and didn't notice she was building tension, afraid taking such bad care of herself. This p&o work, she was never happy working in it, and it seemed not more then a safe solution: it brings money and security, but not any fulfillment.
Also she is stiff, with pain in the knee, neck, and hip. It is difficult to let go this job, because she was
wedded to that security, since she is starting a new integration program. She asks 'do you have something to make me feel strong?' Negotiating financials, I don't trust them, there is a catch, it feels nasty. It feels restless, in my body.
When she lies in her bed, it gets worse, feeling like she has to move, especially the arms. She don't get to things, can't tackle anything, and is listless. She is waking up restless and worrying: I can never work again. Impressions of books and movies come in more, and I feel bad. She don't want this, she prefer to do something with gardens, she does that now as volunteer work. About her negotiating: I thought I was off, but now the tension is sudden back, that feels unsafe. The new work and attitude, it went well at first but now seems to be stagnating. Mercurialis perrennis, made her sleep worse, but she wake up happier. Crotalis tiglion made her bladder better.AnalysisGoldseries, Series 6: longing for independence, leadership (about her own solutions)
Silverseries, Series 5: in between colleagues and management, prefer designing.
So Series 65, Lamiidae as a starting point.
Phase 1: Beginning, she doesn't belong anywhere now, the new situation causes turmoil.
Phase 6: doesn't trust things, nor herself, I am out, want to get out.
Stage 13: holding back, and the starting up is bothering her and stopping her caused by not letting go of the old.
Prescription: Cornus alternifolia MK.Follow upFrom the first day, she sleeps like a marmot. She feels better, and can enjoy herself again. Her feeling
after the remedy: 'it will be all right'. All the complaints are gone after a few weeks.
Dreams are about the past, about people she never wants to see again, and in the dreams that she
pretend not to see them. Spots on the right flank came after three weeks, red bumps started in front of the hypogastrium, and later on her side and back, itches under the shower. In the beginning, she was so uncertain, she wanted to know 'what it would look like in the future', felt very dependent on the job. Ears have been closed for a while, two sides. Soon she quit this job and started an own company, in landscape gardening.
