Botany: 1 genus Paeonia, 33 species; big flowers up to 14 cm in diameter.
Peridiscaceae: Medusandra, Peridiscus, Soyauxia, Whittonia.
Use: ornamental.
Taxonomy
Paeoniaceae were formerly placed in Ranunculaceae and later on under the Dilleniidae. In the latest Apg3 classification it is placed in Saxifragales.
In the Plant theory Paeoniaceae are in Subphase 1 of the Saxifragales.
Maybe Peridiscaceae are also in Subphase 1.
Introduction
The main issue is the home and family. They need a stable home and have an aversion to changes.
They feel an outsider, having no position in society.
