664.47.15 Diospyros kaki
Names: dios-k dios = God pyros = fruit; Kaki comes from Ka = soul and Ki = energy, earth.
Culture: Sharon, Charon, the ferryman of the dead across the river Styx to Hades; in Japan cooked rice is offered on Kaki leaves for the unknown and nameless dead; wood was used for cremations; relationship to life, death, the souls of the ancestors and the unknown nameless dead, as is the case in wartime.
Introduction
The main theme is survival in the midst of disaster. They are strong and sustainable, even when everything around them is in destruction.
They feel the dark side of the world in themselves, the shadow in their own psyche but they want to be responsible and good, even when they have bad sides.
Mind
Ailments from traumas, accidents, burns, war, fire, rape, maltreated very badly, abused; hit by parents, police, street gangs; farmers maltreated and kicked off their property; caught in a fire.
Fear of survival.
Forsaken, cleaning, washing.
Asylum seekers.
Fear: falling from height; death; father; sudden; fighting.
Dreams: insecurity, danger, death, war, fire, apocalyptic, ruins, rape, dictator, cruel, dilapidated houses, strange and mutilated beings, houses degenerating, disease, strange creatures, black and white, cleaning, detoxification, purification, love, flying, cold, dark, sad, water, trees, stones, funeral; crash of an airplane.
Dreams: animals, strange, curious, white; attacked by a wild beast.
Intoxications; alcoholism; chemotherapy, radiotherapy, poisoning with chemicals.
General
Aversion: food, appetite diminished.
Body
General: cancer: tumour; ! leukaemia.
Fever: recuperative powers.
Vertigo: out of balance.
Head: brain pressure, < tumours, bleeding, encephalitis.
Face: stark, stiff, bars, cold; disfigured, hole like a small ear or half nose.
Mouth: ulcers, it encourages salivation.
Throat: sore, dissolves mucus, inflammation.
Lungs: cough, tight chest, difficult breathing, chronic bronchitis; expectoration difficult.
Heart: anaemia, hypertension, haemorrhagic, circulation, arteries and veins, arteriosclerosis, astringent at the flux.
Stomach: indigestion; hiccough; constriction of lower oesophagus; reflux.
Abdomen: liver and spleen problems.
Rectum: constipation; diarrhoea, colitis, piles, astringent in bleeding of the bowels, anthelmintic.
Urinary: encourages excretion.
Female: uterus, ovaria problems; contractions of the vagina.
Skin: burns, vitiligo, virulent sores and ulcers, stops bleeding (styptic), snakebites; growth of hair slow.
