Psychotria nervosa
3-665.43.08A 16-year-old girl who often suffers from headaches and infections. She is calm, elegant, and has a remarkably peaceful and introspective gaze. Her face and hands with long fingers are firm and oval-shaped. She exudes an air of modesty, like a Modigliani portrait, and a touch of charm, like a demure Jane Birkin. Calm, unaffected, and mysterious. During the first consultation, she blushes profusely when the conversation turns to her. She has just been ill for weeks with a fever, sore throat, stuffy nose, and headache. She now gets warm with exertion. She often has headaches; last month, she was dizzy and almost fainted.
When she has a headache, she has to close the curtains. There are periods when she is weak, and she always has cold hands. Sometimes, there is stabbing or pressure above the eyes, on the temporal or forehead area of the head. The glands in her neck often swell up, which she already had as a child; now it is mainly on the left side. Her resistance is low in winter, and she is more often dizzy when she is ill. Her tongue is clean, the front slightly red (this indicates irritation of the ENT mucous membranes). When she is ill, as she is now, she stays at home for a week, has no energy, and is listless all winter. She may have a fever of 39-40 degrees Celsius. She used to have an allergy to eggs. Her skin used to be sensitive; she sleeps well, but wakes up tired. Last year was tough at school, but socially it was fun with lots of friends; she doesn't dislike school. She has no idea what she likes now; she has stopped playing sports. Her parents are easygoing about school and do not put pressure on her. She changed during puberty; she used to be a sweet girl who spent a lot of time with her mother, but in a short time, she became more intense. She has had sports injuries to her legs and is prone to muscle pain.AnalysisClass 6: Many infections, fever, and pain. Allergies. Puberty.
Class 5: The throat area is affected, sensitive to “performance.”
Phase 4: Good foundation at home.
Phase 3: Dizzy, fainting.
Psychotria: Fever with flushing, cold hands, pale.
Her physical appearance matches the Silver Series; her expectant way of looking, showing an inner independence without imposing herself, matches the Rubiales.
Prescription: Psychotria nervosa C30.Follow-upShe has been doing well since day one. She had no complaints during the first months. Headache did not come back. She had throat discomfort one day, but it did not persist. No more headaches. The swollen glands are gone. She radiates calm and confidence, although she sits slightly hunched over, her torso forming a slight arch, as if her consciousness is resting against the back of her head, where she receives impressions and reflects on them. Conformation of Silverseries 5. She now says that she used to get very carsick in the past, and she asks for something for seasickness because they are going sailing, Phase 3 is confirmed here.
