Conyza canadensis
3-666.45.09Boy, 5, warts.A five-year-old boy. He has warts and a rash. He is a cheerful and playful boy, playing freely during the conversation, but staying ‘on his turf’ and listening attentively. His father is with him, a gentle, friendly man who works in security and does police work. He speaks protectively and gives his child a lot of equal space, at the same time, he sets boundaries when there is too much noise or mess, to which the child responds quickly and without any tension or emotion (it resembles the ‘picture’ of Eupatorium perfoliatum as I saw it earlier: an enjoying, protective father, gentleness and steadfastness). There are wart like bumps under the knee, on the buttocks, arm, and armpit. In recent days, there have also been some raw spots. It started on one buttock, with scratching, then it became larger and inflamed, and some are now disappearing again. First, a large spot, red around it, then it starts to itch. Later, it also appeared on the ankles, buttocks, and thighs. Six months ago, it started with an open spot, it looked like a pimple, and it was very painful. Now the spots are painful when sitting or bumping into things, and the skin is warm. He is in third grade at school, and there are several issues: finding a place in the group, with friends, and whether they are friends. He has to learn that, is father explaining. Others decide what he should do; he cannot make his own choices. If he says what he wants, he ends up doing what the others want anyway. That happened at school, and you could tell at home that he was ‘different’. Since then, he has had regular accidents with pee and poop at school and home, and he also reacted differently to his little sister, more violently. He has more difficulty concentrating at school. ‘I'd rather play alone, I'll just stay out of his way,’ his father observes. ‘I do have friends, in grade 6,’ he says at home, referring to the older and protective children. Otherwise, he is healthy. He is bright. ‘Are you still talking about those bumps?’ he says now while playing under the table. At around six months, there was an accident with hot water, and they had to go to the burn center, which, of course, had an impact on his development. Noise is loud to him; he always asks, “Can you turn down the radio?” Eating and drinking are going well. He is the oldest child. His father was in the navy, but because of the pregnancy, he looked for other work. It was a busy period; they had temporary housing, and it was difficult to sell the old house.
His mother has a lot of rashes all over her body. The delivery was intense, the mother had fluid loss, her waters had already broken in the last week, suddenly the mother felt nauseous, and then went into full dilation; they rushed to the hospital. He was breastfed for a few weeks and cried a lot. When bottle-fed, he had “cramps like a banana.” He had a cow's milk allergy until he was 1 year old, after which it disappeared. He once had a large wart under his foot, near his big toe. Father confirms: he is very wise.AnalysisAsterales: he is autonomous, suffers from a virus (the warts), the theme of defense against the outside world that is too small. Discovering borders. Making own decisions, issues of ‘growing’ emotionally.
Phase 4: We see self-evidence, protection, certainty, and security.
Subphase 5: restlessness during pregnancy, wanting more.
Stage 9: A bright little boy, the solution is almost right (how the body resolves the complaints).
Childbirth: stable, remain seated (Phase 4) and engorgement, expulsion (Phase 5). Dilatation, no contractions, almost: Stage 9.
Prescription: Conyza canadensis C200.Follow-upWithin a week, the warts are gone, with just a little chapped skin remaining. He can sit normally again, and his toilet training was back to normal from the moment he took the remedy. It cleared up immediately; on the first day, it was already less inflamed.
His story after a month: it went well, I took the pills, and it was gone! After which he goes to play, after some noise and exploration (he opens a cupboard, looks, drives some toys back and forth), he goes to study a picture book of insects. His sensitivity to noise is unchanged, although he makes a lot of noise with the toys during the consultation. The child is given a lot of space for initiative and exploration, there is no anger at home, and a lot of understanding. Exploring the world together with his father (who grew up without a father himself).
