Stem: hairless or slightly hairy; sticky areas, below the flowers.
Leaves: numerous; 2.5–5 cm long; elliptic, oval or narrowly oval, smooth.
Inflorescence: arranged openly or compactly at end of stems.
Flower: clusters of pink or lavender flowers; catches small insects, trap them by the sticky sap exuded onto the stem.
