Leaves: basal rosette, long-stalked; alternate on lower part of stem, almost stalkless; round–kidney-shaped, large-toothed–almost entire, thickish, sparsely haired.
Inflorescence a lax, 3–10-flowered corymb.
Flower: actinomorphic; fragrant; flowering May to June.
Sepals: white, ± 2 to 3 cm wide; 5, with glandular hairs.
Petals five; 9 to 16 mm long, 3 to 4 times as long as calyx.
Stamens: 10.
Gynoecium: Styles 2, fused at base.
Fruit: 2-parted egg-shaped capsule.
