Introduction
The keynote is being an only child. This is an expression of a situation where the child is very much wanted, complimented and spoiled, a Phase 5 state of the Carbon series, like Nitrogen. On the other hand there is the feeling of not been taken seriously, like a child between adults. This is a Phase 6 quality of the Silicon series. It is like being adored as a child and at the same time not being taken seriously, not seen as an equal.
With friends and schoolmates they have the feeling that they are much more mature and developed, having seen and heard so much from adults. So they are a bit like an outsider there. Added to the state is the Stage 1 quality of being impulsive and not very reflecting. This can lead to a garrulous, childish, almost foolish state of someone who expresses himself directly without looking at the reactions and consequences on others. They feel like the centre of the world, as if everything turns around them, as if they will get everything they want. It is like Paris, the centre of the world according to Parisiens. Or like Paris Hilton, who can get what she wants.
