Fouquieria splendens: Jomjéeziz; Xomjéeziz.
Fouquieria diguetii: Baja California tree ocotillo; Jomjéeziz caacöl.
Fouquieria columnaris: Boojum; Cototaj.
Taxonomy
Fouquieria has been placed in the Violales or their own order Fouquieriales. There is no close resemblance to any other plants; genetic evidence shows their place in Ericales.
