IntroductionThey prefer to stay alone and free over being used, abused or neglected by their parents or spouse.
They have a strong need to be free, not to feel limited by others. They want to be free, make their own decisions, and develop themselves.
They often have a father or mother who has neglected them. Their father can have a second relationship, even a second marriage. They are not really present for their children. This gives them the feeling of being left alone, not seen, and not appreciated. It becomes even worse because they feel special. They would like to be a princess to their father, but the opposite happens. This is enhanced when they have to become part of the adultery, hiding it from their mother. In women it can induce the idea that men cannot be trusted.
They feel they are not valued for who they are. Their parents do not have time and attention for them. This can rise from the situation of a big family where parents do not have time for the children. They often have the feeling that they are being used in their duties to help with the household.
Later in life a similar thing happens in relationships and marriage. They feel used and abused. Their spouse does nothing; does not take responsibility for the household, family and children. They can have an aversion to having children themselves. They feel that their children will use them, take away their freedom and ability to develop themselves.
