Being cheated by their spouse, their adultery.
Desires for revenge for their mortification.
Mind, heart and will are contradicting each other.
Mental struggle.
General
Weather: chilly.
Desire: sour, pickles, pastry, cakes; drinks little and often, hunger soon after eating.
Sleep: sleepy but could not sleep all night.
Body
General: astringent; anticoagulant.
Fever: intermittent; chill with cold, clammy skin, followed by heat with thirst and finally sweat.
Vertigo: dizzy, constant.
Head: headache, fullness.
Eyes: left eye weak, like a cloud over it.
Lungs: cough, constant, < tickling in chest; difficult expectoration; pneumonia.
Heart: pulse weak, slow, < fever heat; pulse quick and hard; pressure; palpitation.
Chest: stitches, as knife thrust, right; pain, cutting, left ribs, under scapula, left clavicle, as if a piece of flesh were being forcibly twisted out, extending towards right side, < deep breath.
Stomach: nausea, vomiting; acid heartburn; painful and slow digestion; indigestion; dyspepsia.
Abdomen: pain, violent; bowels with purging.
Rectum: ineffectual urging; copious stool.
Urinary: difficult urination, < morning, in old men.
Back: jerk, shock, nape of neck; pains at waist, as breaking in two, pains run up whole left side of trunk or body like lightning, seems as if they would give her a twist while running up, pains in elbows and wrist.
Limbs: cramps in hollow of knees; tension in flexor muscles, also in left arm; hands and feet swollen; neuralgic sharp pains begin in right elbow, extending to hand and shoulder, passing down right and then up left, pain settled about heart causing feelings of pressure and palpitation, could not raise arm because of pain and lameness, hands and feet swollen, pains of a darting, needle-like kind, very severe, difficulty in passing water; pains in wrists; numbness and stitches in wrists; blueness of fingers; pain beginning in elbow, settled about heart.
