Taxonomy
Burmanniaceae is a family of parasitic plants that was placed in earlier classification together with Orchidaceae. In the Apg3 classification it is placed together with Dioscoreaceae. Thismia is sometimes placed in its own family Thimisaceae.
In the Plant theory it is placed in Subphase 7 as they are parasitic. There is no information about them in homeopathy. Thismia is placed in Burmanniacaea as in the Apg3 classification as it is parasitic.
