A six-year-old boy with allergies. During the consultation, he constantly moves, picks at and licks his mother, who observes with a smile. He is often sick or sickly, pale, with dark circles under his eyes. Colds and flu take a long time to pass. An allergy scratch test showed sensitivities to dust, cats, dogs, beans, and grass. He frequently has a stuffy nose, coughs a lot, and has red eyes, sometimes with redness in the whites of the eyes, and hives. Nasal spray helps somewhat. His mother finds regular therapies too intense, as he is still too young for all that medication. At three months old, he had the RSV virus, requiring hospitalization and tube feeding, which was a tense time. Since then, he’s had no color on his face. The allergies began at two and a half years old, starting with hives, which he still has and receives antihistamines for. Due to a flattened skull, he wore a helmet for a while, and he cried a lot; even now, he dislikes wearing hats. Previously, he was prone to eczema, red, itchy rashes that worsened with scratching. He is a very sensitive little boy, cheerful, caring, and insecure. He seems somewhat wise and can already read, learned it himself, but he is a bit of a worrier. Sometimes his mother places her hand over his ears because he eavesdrops. He is always "open," sensing things, like feeling the presence of his deceased grandfather. He has an observant nature. He only started walking when he was sure he could. He quickly becomes afraid of exciting things; to sleep, he holds a photo of his parents and a stuffed animal. When he wakes up, which happens suddenly and without dreams, he only calms down in his parents’ bed. Once, he said matter-of-factly, “Grandpa wants to play with me.” He can't always express himself well. The family joke around a lot, the parents are very caring. The pregnancy went fairly well, though it was only possible with medication. His mother suffered from high blood pressure and diabetes, gained a lot of weight, and is still quite heavy. His birth was a C- section due to breech position. He does well in school, though he's insecure, but he is accepted. He is a bit clingy toward his mother. He has an excellent memory. If teased, he ends up in tears. He feels exposed when his mother talks about him, avoiding attention and even compliments. He is too shy to ask for things and has yet to learn independence. When his sister hits him, he cries, often feeling left out. He is more of an observer and has taught himself this. After taking Cotyledon umbilicus, he became less clingy with his mother. Antimonium muriaticum brought slight improvement.
Analysis
Gold series: early-onset allergies. Observing and processing a lot on his own. Notable characteristics associated with the Lanthanides and Serie 6.
From Plant Families, we see many features of the Asterales, formerly known as Compositae. The sensitivity (even fragility) of the child, the mother's protectiveness, and his immune response. Qjure, Calendulaceae: unseen, overlooked, fragile, become silent, dreams of deceased people.
Phase 5: Mother's weight gain. The family is vivacious, full of humor, (within the stability of Phase 4). Stadium 7: teaching himself things, prolonged attempts to conceive.
Bellis perennis: known for mobility and skin issues (Clarke).
Prescription: Bellis perennis C200.
Follow-up after six weeks
He is doing well; he talks more on his own now. He continues to fidget. He didn’t have hay fever all summer, not even at the campsite, which is usually the most difficult month. He did still use preventive eye drops, but in past years, symptoms broke through despite them. Now he has a bit of eczema on his pinky and around his thumbs (small intestine meridian and lymphatic area, suggesting the body is seeking a new balance). He is no longer the pale boy he once was; now he is energetic and tireless. He is more sociable, stepping out of his comfort zone. He speaks up about what he wants and no longer tolerates everything from his sister, sometimes even shouting. He no longer wakes up at night. He talks at home about things that happen to him. In the past, he had light stools and constipation, but that’s no longer the case. He has little fantasy, he tends to play realistically, for example, drawing an apple tree very accurately. He can now adapt to others’ games. After a busy day, he gets tired, but his behavior doesn't reflect it. Medication will be gradually reduced in the coming weeks. The following year, he is in good health.
