Woman, 50 years old, depressedShe has a depressions since she was 14. She is easily anxious and then gets a king of tingling over her whole body and cannot concentrate anymore. She feels mixed up, scrambled, as if something has broken in her head. A few times she attempted suicide. She needs much support from therapists and her husband. She regularly phones her therapist in despair.
She does some household work and other days she goes to day therapy with creative therapy and Chi gong.
She had a traumatic youth. Her father was abusing her sexually since the age of 6. It was a shock for her, she felt frozen and could not move as if she was paralysed. At 18e she was raped by a friend. She could only let it happen, was totally passive. She did not go to the police. She suppressed these experiences for many years. These experience gave her the feeling of being overthrown, numb. Later in life she got flashbacks, a kind of shock state, which made her very anxious. It feels as a black part in her, which she can handle better by smoking tobacco.

Follow upAfter some weeks she phones and tells that her depression has diminished enormously. She realised that she felt unworthy and guilty due to the sexual abuse. But that is not necessary anymore. Her self-denial is shrinking and she feels the depression is not needed anymore.
After six weeks she tells that the remedy has got her out of hell. She feels much more free and happy.
