Analysis
They feel that they are small and worthless. Their feeling of inferiority is so great that they are very shy. He feels worthless on all levels. In the other Baryta's the inferiority is only focused in certain areas and their shyness is not so obvious.
A variation on the theme can be that they have a father who is retarded. This might not actually be true, but they may experience it as such. For instance, their father may have lost his job and with that his social status and probably also his financial position. It could also be that the father is rather weak and not able to cope with life. In all these cases they feel that it is better not to talk about their father, and that it would be better if others did not meet him.
A third variation could be that they themselves are the father of a retarded child. They may feel very inferior for having produced such a child. They think they will be ridiculed and dare not show their child to the outside world.
