Names: Trigonella foenum, graecum = Greek hay, Foenumgraecum officinale, Foenum graecum sativum, Foliculigera graveolens.
English: Bockshornklee, Fenugreek.
German: Kuhhornklee, Griechisch-Heu.
Use: in curry.
Botany: The seeds as they appear in commerce are brownish yellow, long, oblong rhomboid, with a deep furrow almost dividing the seeds into two unequal lobes. Taste reminiscent of celery or lovage; odour, similar.
