English: Sickle fern; Cliff brake.
Region: widespread, common; eastern Australia, Tasmania, Victoria, New South Wales, Queensland.
Habitat: coast ranges, in eucalyptus forest and rainforest; prefers ample water; can take bright light, not full sun.
Use: ornamental.

Leaves: 37 to 105 cm long; pinnate, with 27 and 65 leaflets; pinnae with absent or short talk, oblong to narrow-oblong, 22 to 56 mm long, 5 to 12 mm wide.
Sori: in a continuous band along the edges of each pinna.
