Japanese: Mame-dzuta, benas beans vine.
Region: Japan, Korea, China, India, Philippines, Asiatic Islands.
Habitat: warm to cool growing; prefers medium to high moisture; on old trees or lithophyte on stone walls.
Use: for terrariums; best grown on New Zealand long fiber or sphagnum moss.
BotanyFern; evergreen; perennial; epiphytic; creeping; small; slow growing.
Leaves: small, ± 1 cm diameter; spores producing are 5 cm long, ± 1/2 cm wide.
