Fower: petals, 6 or more, variable in size, shape, and color, 6 to 19 mm long, rounded or pointed tips; solid white, solid yellow, and a white petal with a yellow tip or yellow base or both; all-yellow petals are less common, reddish when old; stamens in several whorls, with thickened ends.
Fruit: capsule; up to 1.6 centimeters long; divided into many sections.
