Genus: ± 30 species.
Region: south-eastern Australia.
Taxonomy
It was first named Azorella lanceolata. Later it was transferred to the genus Platysace in 1917 by English botanist George Claridge Druce.
Botany
Shrub, 1.5 metres high.
Leaves: ± 3 cm long, 4 to 5
mm wide.
Inflorescences: umbels.
Flowers: small, white, 5-petalled, flowering from December to February.
