Taxonomy
Burmanniaceae is a family of parasitic plants that was placed in earlier classification together with Orchidaceae. In the Apg3 classification it is placed together with Dioscoreaceae.
In the Plant theory it is placed in Subphase 6.
Introduction
It looks very much like Helonias dioica, which is Stage 14 in the Liliaceae. It is the combination of being abused and adapting to that situation out of lack of power to behave differently.
