Essence: being one and desire to be one.
Being one: unity consciousness
These people can experience the world as one total unity. Or they may have a strong desire to experience the world as such. Just like a foetus that experiences the world as a whole, there are no divisions and distinctions yet. They are one with the world and with all living beings. This feeling is expressed as a great love for everything and everybody. They may also have a feeling of being able to merge with others. They can be quite erotic, or they may live in real symbiotic style with another being.
The desire for unity can also be expressed as strong religious feelings. They want to experience themselves and the world they live in as one whole and they will search for a religion that might fulfil this desire. They might feel very drawn to mysticism and to Buddhism. They can feel the presence of God and the unity through higher states of consciousness. These states will make them feel very happy, they are in ecstasy, everything looks beautiful and wonderful.
Desire to be one: now and forever totally and completely.
Forever, totally, completely, they are concepts that relate to this desire for unity. They are all expressions of a feeling of oneness.
One truth: absolute truth
They search for truth, they want to know why things are the way they are. We can see this same desire in the world of science. Scientists are forever trying to combine their theories into one, all encompassing theory. Trying to find a universal theory of physics, trying to relate everything that happens in the world to one theoretical model.
These people might also display a tremendous curiosity, a wish to investigate everything and to participate in everything. That way they can try and find out how all phenomena might be related to each other. They are convinced that eventually it will be shown that everything is interconnected and they will do everything to prove it to themselves and to the world.
Simplicity: spaceless
Their experience is one of simplicity, nothing has been put into a fixed space yet. They are here and that is all. They are still in touch with the universe. They often feel as if they are outside of their bodies, as if they are in space with the energies swirling around them. They find it difficult to judge distances, often make mistakes in size and distance. They like to be on top of a mountain to be at one with the space above.
They can appear to be quite naive. Others often think of them as being rather simple, or vague and idealistic.
Simplicity: timeless
To them time does not exist. Everything just is. There is just the present, which is the same as eternity. They can just as easily get in touch with the distant past as with the distant future, to them it is all the same. They don’t easily distinguish between past, present and future, so they are quite likely to make mistakes in timing things. Time often moves too slowly according to them.
Not being one: isolation
After a while they start to experience separation. They feel separated from the world, estranged from their family. This can go so far that they feel that these gaps cannot be closed anymore and then they feel terribly lost and alone. It is as if their world is collapsing and they are going through hell. They can develop all sorts of fears, particularly the fear that they will never be able to feel this unity with others, with the world and with God anymore.
It is as if they have just left paradise to incarnate into this world and suddenly they find themselves totally isolated from the universe. It is as if body and soul are separated, no longer belonging together. They often dream of halves.
This separation can express itself many ways. They may feel betrayed, rejected or abandoned. they dream about death, enemies and crimes.
Desire to be one: exhaustion
The desire of having a total experience of oneness can bring them very close to a state of exhaustion. They want to exhaust something, to get everything out of it that they can in order to experience it as fully as possible.
Or they might exhaust themselves in repeatedly trying to regain a once held feeling of unity. This can result in feelings of hurry, restlessness, enthusiasm or fanaticism.
Another area where exhaustion can manifest itself is in the object of the desire. Once this has been emptied or exhausted the person will feel that he is separated from what was once there.
Not true: psychosis
Their inability to orientate leads to feelings of confusion and dizziness. They don’t know where they are anymore. They can’t seem to achieve anything anymore and they desperately start to look for something to hold on to. In extreme situations they can even become psychotic, where they don’t know the difference between their own Self and other people anymore.
Initiative to exist: conception
This phase corresponds to that of conception. It is the beginning in the development of life, the union between ovum and sperm. But they aren’t aware of what is coming. One could say: ‘they have no idea what they are letting themselves in for, poor things’. They often give you the feeling that they haven’t been born properly yet, that they are not really there.

DD: Helium, Stage 1 and 10, Palladium, Platinum, Anhalonium, Cannabis indica, LSD.
DD Anhalonium: also has very strong out of body experiences, cosmic experiences with fantastic shapes and colours. But a typical difference is that Anhalonium has a mix up of the senses, e.g. beautiful music is experienced as a fantastic array of colours, etc.
DD Cannabis indica: can also be absentminded and dreamy and have lots of religious experiences, but this remedy has a typical tendency to play down all his symptoms and sensations, it all becomes rather hilarious. They don’t have the typical feelings of unity either.
DD Blank remedy: Hydrogen has many features of the blank remedy. The theme of separation is strongly present, but Hydrogen feels separation from everything, from the totality.
