Remedy code: 3-643.14.10
A 70-year-old woman, who previously recovered physically after Sphenicus humboltii. Since then, she has been happier, walking has improved significantly, and she feels much fitter. However, she is still very preoccupied with the past, with dreams about past traumas: a neck injury, and issues with her house (neighbors, fights, threats, fire). She often lies down, feeling low in bed, crying, living with somber memories and a desperate outlook on the future. If anything happens, she feels unsteady in her hips, and anger emerges in her dreams. She spends much time on Tai Chi, spiritual development, and meditation. She experienced immense pressure before receiving Sphenicus humboltii. Back then, she could talk for over an hour straight about how vulnerable she felt, how hard life had been, and how misunderstood she always was. Since her youth, she has stuttered terribly, with long and loud hesitations followed by bursts of sound. Her whole life, she felt like a drudge. All the misery in her thoughts and stories revolves around her childhood family and her work. Even now, there are long monologues, she becomes completely absorbed in her story, almost surprised and confused if interrupted, after which she starts over again. She makes quick movements from a stiff torso, her eyes are directed inward, sometimes darting outward. Her right eye is strong and very open; the left is cautious, deep within, distant. She knows what she wants, but her will has been suppressed for many years. Through tears, she speaks about her feeling of being “on the outside.” Stuttering, she persists in what she wants to say, responding to an impulse that does not subside. She feels oppressed in everything, unable to sympathize with externally imposed ideas. “In a deeper sense, I am myself; I also had this as a child, I’ve been called every name under the sun; everything has been thrown at me.” She understands and explains all the dissatisfaction and trauma: “They shouldn’t manipulate me; I don’t want to be tied to things”, she stand above this. She has a red rash on her calf and white spots on her arms. Her blood pressure is 150/90. In recent weeks, she has had a terrible cold (it is midsummer), she is often closing her eyes while speaking, and smiling as she knows things better then anyone. She feels very dizzy and suffers from her neck and eyes. Her family asks: “Why do you always have to be different from others, for example with healthy food?” She responds: “There is nothing for me, then!” Everything she works on seems to fall into place: she finds papers she needs, which provide answers, and meets people she has been (mentally) preoccupied with, which makes her happy and gives her a feeling of superiority. No one has ever looked after her (from her family, her group, her ‘circle’), and she has continued alone in terms of health and spirituality. In that sense, she is proud of herself. She knows things from reading and revelations. “People like me are ahead of their time.” She is glad she remained true to herself and her inner voice. Despite the constant criticism, she is satisfied with everything she has done. “
Family, I don’t belong there; they’re on a different wavelength.” She was never able to express herself; speaking didn’t work because the stuttering blocked everything. She chose her path, with a different way of thinking. She never felt connected to anyone. At home, there was never time for her; she felt misunderstood. Stuttering, she was always in therapy, away from home.

Gold series. The problems, however, are about work and family: not being accepted, not belonging—Iron series3.
Iron series3: A conflict within both the
Silicon series (family) and the
Iron series (work, functioning in society). In the
Proteidae, we see themes of friendship and society: the group you belong to, focus on or are sensitive to.
Phase 1: It doesn’t fit; she doesn’t belong, has never belonged, and has always been alone.
Subphase 4: Stable.
Stage 10: the Action is Fixed, holding on, satisfied, haughty (as a resolving theme). All of this points to the remedy Platanum. While the description does not align directly with Wonderful
Plants, the 3-643.14, the family classification, matches its key characteristics.
Prescription:
Platanus occidentalis C200.
Follow-upAfter Platanus, she was very tired for a week, feeling all her old pains return. For two weeks, she had many old memories and a lot of anger, which she wrote down. While writing, she frequently experienced cramps in her throat or hands. A lot of aggression surfaced. She also had fevers regularly in the first weeks. Afterward, she felt vital, and her movement improved significantly. Most importantly: she no longer stutters, for the first time in 70 years! She is no longer hysterical, although she still talks a lot. Now, she can find peace. The pains in her hips and legs are gone, and her nails have stopped splitting. All the criticism she always received, and still receives, no longer affects her. She feels above it now, centered, upright, and stable. After four months, she reports that things remain this good. She no longer struggles with her family, even though the dynamics remain unchanged. She still speaks well. The rash that appeared after Platanus has disappeared again. The emotions she experienced when being “forced” or controlled, or when others (the know-it-alls) tried to impose therapies on her, have been released: she felt a relaxation from the top of her head downward (she points to the gallbladder meridian, indicating its path down along her sides). For the following ten years, she experienced no complaints.
