Remedy code: 3-655.36.14.
An 11-year-old boy with behavioral problems. Diagnosed with ODD, possibly also ADHD. He has difficulty concentrating, is severely dyslexic, and frequently argues with his teacher (he “attacked her”), to the extent that his mother had to pick him up from school. He is now at a new school, a special needs school with a lot of support. At school, he is almost impossible to approach. If he doesn't get his way, he quickly becomes angry, shouting, swearing, and slamming doors. He is easily agitated and has difficulty sitting still. He can also quickly examine, investigate, or take something apart. He is often sociable, but also quick to anger and then starts shouting. When he enters the practice, his intense gaze is clear; he does not want to talk and remains silent. He turns it into a game; he seems to be used to controlling or manipulating his environment. He has two brothers, and they often fight. The birth was a C-section; there was no dilation, and the twin sister no longer had a good heartbeat, which caused panic. His parents separated two months after the birth. From infancy, he has been very direct in his reactions. He is healthy and never gets sick. He is good at reading letters, but cannot form words. He is good at math. Play: fantasy, singing, or performing with his brother. He sleeps well, but sometimes has nightmares: “Then I run away from mummies because poison can come out of them.” He then runs to his mother in the night. He can be startled or frightened by a siren. Nail biting. Poor appetite.
AnalysisMalvales:
Dyslexia, parents separated, sensitive. Out of contact. Abroma: The spinning, manipulating his environment and people, presenting himself, a hard look in his eyes, and a cheerful demeanor when he is in charge of someone. Nailbiting. The analysis is based on Plant families and recognition of previous prescriptions, years before the evolution of analysis to
Qjure. We can recognize here the Silver aspect, performing when playing, the
Stage 14 aspect in the ‘mummies’, the hardness and distance and the theme poison we know from
Plumbum, an other
Stage 14 remedy. Father left, fits
Phase 6, as do the bowl problems.
Abroma augusta MK.
Follow-upOver the next two months, he is happier, singing and humming a lot. At school, they find him more sociable, he has better concentration, his reading has improved, and he has made enormous progress at school. At home, there is still a lot of conflict with his brothers and mother. He has not had any nightmares during this period and no longer gets out of bed to go to his mother. During the consultation, he now participates in the conversation, no longer constantly turning away and trying to interrupt the conversation with his behavior. For years, he has had difficulty with bowel movements, sometimes with blood when wiping. Now he regularly indicates that he is experiencing discomfort.
