Desperately trying to hold on to glamour
They love to be glamourous and they usually succeed because they are good lookers and smooth talkers. But when something threatens their glamourous position they get very afraid. What if other people won’t notice them anymore and they will be cast aside? They will try and do anything to maintain their former position. Everything has to stay as it was. Desperately hanging on to the old ways, they are unable to go with the flow of new developments. It is like a sort of mental cramp, which doesn’t help the situation at all, if anything it will hasten the loss of their social position.
