Case by Jan Scholten.
Man, 89, cough. He has cough with copious, foamy, reducing to somewhat yellow expectorating. His respiration is buzzing, especially when he is lying in the evening. His inspiration feels blocked. His voice sounds hoarse. The complaints started after an influenza 10 year previously. The doctors doubted if the complaints had to be diagnosed as bronchitis or asthma.
He has a left inguinal hernia, from lifting suitcases.
He had a terrible youth, dramatic. His father was a strong, big and rich man. He had many women after his divorce. He was raised by those women who did not like him at all. Once he was given to a woman that was an ex of his father. She was angry at his father and thus also angry at him. It gave him the feeling of being raised without feeling and love. After his youth he emigrated, did want to have any contact with his home country.
He is very direct, telling what he dislikes. He likes to live simply. He is very precise, everything has to be in order. He gets irritated when things are chaotic, a mess. In his work as a mechanic he was the same, yelling at the boys what they had to do.
AnalysisPteridophyte: lack of emotions and love; orderly, precise.
Carbon series: youth without mother or father.
Phase 7: raised by angry stepmothers; emigrated; contact broken.
Stage 12: bossy, yelling at the boys.
Prescription: 3-442.17.12.
Follow upAfter 8 weeks and 4 doses of
Pteridium aquilinum MK he is gradually doing better. His breathing is going better and seldom with buzzing anymore. He stopped all the other medications, as they did not help him really. His energy has become good. His mood is better, he is laughing more.
Bryonia alba had no effect.
