General
Type: dark, dark eye, black hair, sanguine.
Localisation: left.
Weather: < cold; chilly.
Sweat: scanty.
Desire: thirst with oedema.
Sleep: great restlessness and little sleep; sleepy in afternoons; restless at night.
Body
General: anorexia.
Nervous: hydrocephalus: sutures open, forehead projecting, sight of one eye totally lost, the other slightly functional; stupor; constant involuntary motion of one leg and arm, urine suppressed, vomiting, with stupor; cerebrospinal meningitis + anuria; !! neuralgia of the right side, groin, hip, right kidney, violent, forcing cries, sudden, < slightest jar.
Head: headache, frontal, fullness in forehead.
Eyes: vision lost.
Nose: filled with thick yellow mucus, < waking.
Face: oedema.
Mouth: tongue heavily coated, brownish white.
Lungs: great difficulty of breathing, < slightest exertion, < lying down; pneumonia with cyanosis, difficult breathing, pulmonary oedema, hydrothorax; asthmatic > sitting, < lying down, < emotions; cough, short dry, deep and loose, distressing, constant.
Heart: weak, angina pectoris, fluttering, mitral regurgitation, dropsy, fast pulse irregularity, cyanosis; mitral constriction, shortness of breath, cyanosis, clubbed finger ends, enlarged liver, with occasional jaundice, long and loud presystolic murmur, hard cough, with difficult expectoration of glairy mucus; pericarditis, hydropericardium, hypotension, tricuspid regurgitation; pulse feeble, scarcely perceptible, quick, < anaemia; troublesome < motion, <<< exposed to intense cold; almost pulseless, faintness.
Stomach: full, < least food; excessively irritable, distressing, vomiting, excessive, forcible, frequent belching, sinking feeling at the pit of stomach; paralysis.
Abdomen: oedema; constipated, swollen, distended, ascites, weak, all gone feeling; relaxation of sphincters; ascites.
Rectum: diarrhoea, copious, painless, watery, greenish, yellow, brownish, expelled with great force, < vegetables.
Urinary: kidney degeneration; suppression; urination painful, dribbling, < after typhus, typhoid, scarlatina, cirrhosis, quinine; anasarca, dropsy; urine scanty, thick, yellow and turbid, pale, copious, albumin; enuresis; catarrh of the bladder, enlarged prostate, incontinence.
Male: penis and scrotum swollen, dropsical.
Female: menorrhagia, profuse, continuous, paroxysmal, large clots, metrorrhagia, exhausting, < heart resumed action; fibroid, fibroid; haemorrhage < labour; leucorrhoea; amenorrhoea in young girls.
Back: backache violent, inferior angle of left scapula.
Limbs: feet, legs grew slowly larger, oedema, very feeble, weakness of the limbs; sciatica; rheumatic stiffness, legs, joints, knees; bending difficult, painful; traumatic phlebitis; oedema.
Skin: dry, husky, distended and glistening, relaxed, doughy; eczema, circinate herpes.
