She is two minds in the whole situation: on the one hand she would like to have children, on the other hand she has the idea that she will lose her freedom. She has pains in her joints, which are worse from exertion. She has the feeling that she has two halves, left and right, which causes her to be awkward and to stumble.
She was married before but divorced because her husband was drinking too much. After the divorce she did not hear anything from her ex-husband. She felt left alone and not recognised. Her new relationship is much better.
She cannot stand bad people, people who do not do right, who do not respect the choices of others and expect things of people that they cannot give. She has the feeling that people do not see the beautiful side of people’s qualities. She is religious but in her own way. So she has the feeling she does not belong to groups.
Her parents were old-fashioned. She was appreciated only when living according to the rules of the community and the church. When one wanted to take one step outside of it one would be dropped. Marriage had to be endured till the last sob. When she was living together unmarried her parents made no contact with her for seven years.

She has realised some shocking things, for instance that her mother should never have had children. She is looking more objectively at her own wish for children. The feeling of being in two halves is gone.
