Case by Jan Scholten.Woman, 70 years old, stress.She has sinusitis, mostly frontal, with pain in her head and the root of her nose, worse when inspiring. Her nose feels full and she wakes regularly early in the motioning at 5 am from the complaints. It is chronic, she has it already for 40 years.
It is connected with stress, all that she feels she should do, like caring for her mother, her family and her work. Already as a child of 7 she felt very responsible, for her younger brother and her mother. In puberty she was very caring for her grandmother and so on. She feels responsible for the togetherness in the family, for instance by creating parties like Christmas. This attitude is coming from inside, not from her education. She cannot explain it, she is born with it, it is just there.
With it she has often the feeling that it is never enough, not good enough. This is expressed in many dreams. For instance, she dreams of climbing up a steep mountain and almost at the top she has to climb into a tree, which she can't do.
She was also ambitious, could already read and write before going to school.AnalysisCentral is the stress of her responsibility, already as a child of seven.
