655.53.12 Cistus canadensis, CaseCase by Martin Jakob.
Woman, 60, muco-epidermoid carcinoma of right salivary glands.
The carcinoma is surgically removed and radiated. She loses weight.
She is elegant, cultivated, fancy, very thin, delicate and very sensitive to cold.
She had a strict father who used to beat his children a lot, especially her brothers. She was his favourite but she moved out of home at 17 because of her father.
She met her partner and got a child. He was terribly jealous though, spent all the money and always drank too much. She felt it as too much and too bad for her child and separated from him after 3 years. The separation was difficult. She still feels haunted by him, as he lives in the same neighbourhood. She says she is not prepared to stay behind. Her mother was never allowed to say anything. So she had vowed that she would never do that to herself. She always had to stand on her own feet, had to cope with everything alone. She has never had another solid partnership. She lived for her child. She felt better off alone, could not adjust anymore.
She grew up in an old city, where cultural rules are still very strong. She wanted to broaden her cultural context.
She prefers to stay alone, over getting imprisoned.
