Woman, 20, eczema.
A 20-year old woman has eczema on her fingers, wrists and the elbow creases, more on the right than the left.
Eczema since she was a baby. According to her mother she was “born cracked”. When it worsens, the skin becomes red and hot, with a burning itch, ameliorated by a hot shower !, “The hotter the better. ” The itch is worse when she perspires and in humid weather; it is better at the seaside. She sees her eczema as armour for her sensitivity.
Increasing fatigue. Pressure in head.
In the winter her maxillary sinuses bother her. She also gets a headache when there are headlights from other cars coming head-on.
Personality.
Has had a steady boyfriend for 4 years. The in-laws are intense. Her mother-in-law sometimes hits her husband. She tries to keep herself and her boyfriend out of range. She tries to balance everything and keep everybody content.
She is doing an internship in education.
She takes on too much. At school everybody tells her their problems.
Loves animals and nature.
Follow upAfter 6 weeksn she has more energy, sleeps better. Her eczema worse.
After 12 weeks her energy good and her eczema is back to the previous level.
18 weeks later her eczema is much improved, she has almost normal hands. She is much less concerned about in-laws, they can sort it out for themselves.
After 30 weeks her eczema is much improved. Her energy level good, she passed an exam. She is working 5 days a week in a childcare centre. She wants to move in with her boyfriend.
