644.62.06 Elaeagnus rhamnoides, CaseCase by Pieter Kuiper.
Man, 43, Hodgkin’s.
As a boy he was very sensitive, very open with a liking for music, jazz, clarinet. His mother punished him for it. It felt unsafe, like being beaten, as if punished and neglected. He tried to adapt to his mother to keep the peace. After that period he started to do everything on his own, became untouchable. He could not trust others anymore.
He is still sensitive, vulnerable but also courageous, too mentally oriented.
He recognises himself in the Hippophae, Elaeagnus rhamnoides: unruly, resilience, strength to survive in the harshness of the wind and weather, living on poor soil, in the dunes, inconspicuous.
Loves the dunes, feels at home there.
AnalysisCarbon series: boy punished.
Rhamnaceae: survive in the harshness.
Stage 6: untouchable; courageous.
Follow upAfter Elaeagnus rhamnoides MK he rediscovers the balance between his sensitivity and dynamism.
