Case: man, 55, Crohn's disease.
The Crohn's disease gives irregular stools, which he had all his life. It started when he was 40. Then he also had haemorrhoids. An operation didn't help. He has bloody stools. He has constipation at weekends and diarrhoea during the week. His belly feels cold, worse form barbecue food, sand spicy food and better from a warm bath, a warm hand on his abdomen, summer, and sunbathing. The diagnosis was later changed to ulcerative colitis. The problem that triggered it was that his ex-wife was keeping their children away from him after their divorce. That felt as a big pain and loss. He also felt guilty about the divorce, what he had done to his children.
He had a TIA 5 years ago, with paralysis of his left face. Suddenly it was over. He has osteoarthritis in his knees and ankles, back, and neck. His neck feels stiff. He had surgery for this that didn't help.
He worked in a company as an electrician. After his diagnosis he was rejected at medical examinations for his job. Then he became a taxi driver.
His first wife was suicidal, and lost track of how to live. He cared a lot of for his wife, with her psychological problems. He was always busy with her mental health problems. She left him when she had an affair with someone else. He also once had an affair. They remained in good contact. But is ex got into troubles and debt after he left their house.
They got 3 children, and 1 grandchild. He got good contact again with them when they became adult.
One daughter also has problems with intestines.
His second marriage is going well.
He comes from a large family with 9 children, where two of them died early. His father was always working, as a horticulturist. He was mostly absent. They played soccer together, swimming, but seldom. He looks like his father, a nice man, with an outgoing character. His father died at 44. That was a big loss for him, as he had no-one to fall back on anymore.
His mother is still alive, and has problems with her heart, colon, and intestines.
He is easily worried about others, easily nervous. He is responsible in the way of doing things for others. He is not very expressive. He cared a lot for his mother and brother.
He has no special interest in plants or animals.

Follow upGradually his illness ameliorated. He has only diarrhoea early in the morning and some stools at night. The rest of day is good, it is controllable. there is no blood and mucous with his stool.
After an influenza the Crohn’s disease came back a bit, but not as much as before. With the influenza, he was terribly chilly and everything was hurting. After the influenza and a repetition of
Terbium oxydatum MK he felt generally better.
In the 10 years after the initial consultation he asks for a repetition of remedy every once in a while. It helps every time.
