Introduction
There is conflict between adapting and pleasing on one hand and fear of being rejected from the village on the other. This conflict can take several forms. One is that of gossiping, behaving very nice and friendly but at the same time telling stories about others that degrades them. Another form is that of the schemer, a person that behaves nicely and pleasing but is busy getting others rejected, expelled and taken advantage of. Often this is done out of a fear of getting expelled themselves.
They fear rejection and being expelled when they go their own way and lead their own life instead of adapting to the group or village.
