A boy of 12 years of age has an anxiety about ghosts. He doesn't dare to go to bed out of fear that a man with a scythe will come to chop his head off. In bed he feels watched from a corner. He has fear of the dark, spiders, being alone and graveyards, which is worse when he’s alone and after scary movies. The fear of ghosts became worse after his father had used his room for meditation for a while. He has a fear of the movie “Sleepy Hollow”, where a man is walking around headless, chopping off other people’s heads to find his own. Really scary for him was the movie “From Hell”, where a man killed prostitutes and cut off their genitals to eat them. After that movie he feared that someone would come to stab him. He’s very occupied with death, asking a lot about it. He fears death, fearing that there’s nothing after death.
He has fluent coryza yet with an obstructed nose, which makes him sleep badly. He’s fatigued from lack of sleep.
He had strabismus and both eyes were corrected operatively.
His school results are moderate. He hates homework. He was tested at school and found to be highly gifted. He wants to become an inventor, a designer of games. He perceives school as a prison. Learning is not his strong point.
During the pregnancy his mother developed a desire for meat, whereas she's normally vegetarian.
AnalysisThe remedies coming to the mind are Agaricus and other fungi, Belladonna and other
Solanaceae, Mancinella, Anacardium and
Thulium.
Thulium is coming to the fore because there are many Lanthanide themes. First he’s a highly gifted child. Secondly he hates school and homework. He even sees school as prison, typical of
Lanthanides.
Thulium is also confirmed by the theme of heads (
Gold series) lost, chopped off (
Stage 15).
ConfirmationsThulium: fearing nothing exists after death.
Lanthanides: strabismus, -> being an inventor, designer of games.
Gold series: -> meat.
Follow upA month after
Thulium MK his anxiety is almost gone. He can go upstairs in the evening alone. He’s doing better at school, making plans, and doing his homework. He has strange dreams but not anxious ones anymore.
