20. Case of HairfallPresenting Complaint: A 25-year-old male has had crown hair fall with brittle hair for five years
Other Complaints: Acidity and burning relieved by vomiting. Exam-related anxiety with sleeplessness, poor appetite, and fear of failure.
Physical Generals: Thirstless, craves sweets and fruits, feels thermally hot but prefers covering, and has very light sleep disturbed by noise.
Childhood: Unable to focus on studies, so dropped out of school. Aggressive; used to throw things, and during anger used to bang his legs. Masturbated as a teenager.
Mind State: Develops chest heaviness and headaches with anger; enjoys traveling.
Dreams: of failure.
Observation: Nail biting continuously; black moles on the body.
AnalysisRx: Medorrhinum 1M followed by Medorrhinum LM4 O. D. for 3 days. SL for 45 days
Follow up: Poor focus with constant overthinking and future worries. Disturbing dreams, recurrent cough, anxiety with delays, low confidence, irritability at ignorance, and persistent self-blame.
Rx: DNA 200C B. D. for 3 days
Follow up: Anxiety has reduced, with improved concentration and less distractibility. Occasional acidity and bloating. Sleep is refreshing with no dullness; dreams are non-specific. Anger occurs occasionally, especially with time pressure or disorder. Fear of heights with occasional worry, offensive breath, and emotional sensitivity.
