Family
English: Long-beaked Thyme-moss.
Habitat: in damp, calcareous habitats, on soil and over rocks; intermittently inundated rocks and banks beside rivers.
BotanyStems: creeping; non-fertile; up to about 5 cm long.
Leaves: 5 to 7 mm long; do not run down onto the stem; cells are little longer than wide, and are not in clear diagonal rows.
Capsules: frequently in spring; about 4 mm long; with beaked lid.
