Reveal classification

James Lauritz Reveal was a American botanist who lived from 1941 to 2015. He published his classification of the Plant kingdom. Reveal was a professor at the University of Maryland and honorary curator at the New York Botanical Garden.He published extensively on North American flora, especially the genus Eriogonum. He was a member of the Angiosperm Phylogeny Group, and was one of the authors of the Apg2 and Apg3 classifications.
