Family
Woman, 45, premenstrual tension.
She presented with bad premenstrual tension, menopausal symptoms. She is a very active lady who works in television as a floor manager. Normally during PMT she feels let down by people and feels wronged. She talks about being bossy, and 'busy, busy, busy' and having a ‘buzz’. At that point I was thinking about Apis perhaps. She also HATES honey. And her name is…. MELISSA!! So I looked at Melissa Officinalis and the numbers fit well and that’s what I gave her.
She came back today and said she had an amazing 4 weeks then the worst PMT she ever had (but much shorter) and the period was less painful. And now she feels good. There were definite positive changes in the way she relates to her family and work. We have to wait and see how the next period is but my sense is that this was a very good remedy for her. If it continues in a good way I will write it up.
