This is the case of a 58 year old bank accountant. He complained of chronic prostatitis, frequent diarrhoea and difficulty in controlling anger. He takes Prostagutt (a Sabal serrulata extract) which helps him. Speaks hesitant and in jerks, complicated ideas, it is difficult to understand him and tiresome to follow his long winded ideas. He is interested in Buddhism and always liked to do things on his own, not a social type. His main object since his youth is "to control his thoughts by reason" (at least what he thinks is reason), but he attempts it most unpractically. When he tells his story I get the impression as if every idea is registered and immediately counteracted by its opposite. No straight line, always undulating between pairs of opposites.
I found under Sabal serrulata: "suffering of his own thoughts". As I do not know the remedy, I tried Sabal serrulata 200 twice a week with some success, he can direct his thoughts better. But to me he felt the same, ideas as complicated as ever. Also physically unimproved. The nyctury and pain urinating was the same. He was so boring to listen to, as if he had no contact with himself and not realizing it. I gave
Alumina, which brought better sleep with dreams of defending an unjustly accused person; he said that in the dream he managed to fight without emotion. Alum-met was tried but to no effect. Anhalonium (spiritual minded, likes the color gold) followed. It helped him quite well for the diarrhoea.
When he came back he reported that he sees rotating images just before waking. A Lanthanid! Now many things fell into place. So he got
Gadolinium oxydatum (the oxide was the only Gadolinium I had, there was no point in using the oxide). Now it is 2 months after the remedy, and on the phone he said he is very content with it, the effect is "auflerordentlich". He needed no more sabal extract, no pain before and during urination, and he felt generally better. Unfortunately I did not see him and could not get my own impression, but in his view he thinks it was the best remedy so far. He has relapsed a little after 3 weeks. When he gets the urge for toilet he cannot distinguish properly if it is for stool or urine. I sent him another dose now.
