Monoterpenes and monoterpenoids are diverse.
Bicyclic monoterpenes: carene, sabinene, camphene, thujene.Bicyclic monoterpenoids containing ketone, alcohol, ether: Camphor, borneol, eucalyptol, ascaridol; bridging peroxide functional groups.
